Goodbye Grapes

Grapevines in Sonoma
Grapevines in Sonoma

This fall was full of amazing colors throughout Sonoma County. The grapevines showed bright yellows, reds, oranges and greens and now it is flowing into winter. The beauty of the vines still exist but the grapes are gone, but not forgotten. Can’t wait to sip on this year’s vintage in a couple years!

Gone but not forgotten is this week’s weekly photo challenge.

  1. Well, I can honestly say that I am happy that winter has finally decided to bless us with his presence! This drought business is definitely no fun! On that note, I am feeling parched now and will be heading to my local wine bar in just a litlle bit 🙂 Stay dry!

    1. Agree! Super excited about all the rain we have been getting recently. It’s about time!
Enjoy your local wine bar =) and thanks for stopping by!

  2. Great shot ~ and nice to have some wetness this winter and look for more in a bountiful ’15 ~ looking forward to a few bottles of Christmas cheer this week…

    1. Thank you! Yes, we are grateful for the rain! Enjoy your bottles of Christmas cheer! We will also be enjoying it…with a little crab of course!

      1. If that is Dungeness crab, please leave a spot on the table for me, I’ll be right down :-)…

        1. Will do! It’s my favorite type of crab and goes oh so nicely with wine!

          1. Yes indeed ~ every time I’m back in Seattle it is salmon, crab and an Oregon wine for my perfect meal 🙂
